Tour Policies

At Oku Tours, we offer unique and memorable sightseeing tours that take you to the most popular landmarks and hidden gems of our city. Our experienced guides provide fascinating insights into the history, culture, and architecture of the places we visit. We have just a few policies to be familiar with before going on one of our tours:

• Children 3 years of age or less are free if accompanied by an adult and do not need a registration.

• Please be aware of any food allergies you may have before going on one of our tours involving food. Our guide can translate to ask the vendor if the food meets your specifications, but we are not responsible for anything you may consume on one of our tours as we do not make the food you will consume, nor will we be selecting the specific items you choose to eat. You will be consuming any and all items completely at your own risk.

• You will need to sign a waiver onsite for yourself and any dependents.

• Our tours do not include food or drinks in the price. You are expected to pay for any snacks from vendors we may visit on our tours.

• Please keep in mind that these are walking tours and will require quite a bit of walking in between sites, so please wear comfortable shoes.

• You will need to find transportation to the meeting site, which will be close to our first stop on the tour. We can assist you with finding your way to the tour site. Please contact our tour leader if you have any trouble finding the location.

• Tours wait for 5-10 minutes at the meeting location and then move on to the first location. If you are late, please let us know so we can tell you where the group is at the time.

• There are no refunds for any reason. However, you may get a credit for another tour if you cannot make it to your originally scheduled tour, so you will not lose the ability to enjoy one of our tours.

• Tipping is not required, but is always appreciated. Please tip your tour guide directly in cash if you wish to do so--we do not have the ability to accept tips online.

• Please keep in mind that we must, as a group, remain respectful of the places we visit. Our tour guide will kindly ask for your assistance if they observe any less than respectful behavior. Additionally, we reserve the right to refuse service or reject someone from a tour for overly disrespectful behavior.

• Our tours are rain or shine and will not be canceled unless it is an emergency situation such as a natural disaster. We will contact you directly in this case.

• The meeting location for your tour will be emailed to you within 1 week of your tour date. If you are confused on where to meet, please call our help line.

• Refunds: There are no refunds; however, we will issue a tour credit for a free tour if you miss your tour or need to cancel your tour for any reason. Tour credits never expire and can be used to book a tour of equivalent value.
